Get to know Coach Cintia

In this Coach Spotlight series, we’re sitting down with Cintia to learn more about the passion she brings to the gym floor everyday, her own journey in health and wellness, and what continues to inspire her. Let’s dive in!

What inspired you to become a coach?

I love sports and, since I was 11 years old, I have been actively training! I think my love for fitness and physical activity is powerful and it’s my main motivator. I enjoy working out and I love to try and learn new movements. I know that lots of people are struggling to find motivation and be consistent. I find that it is helpful to share how great the impact that physical activity is on people’s lives either physically and mentally.

How do you stay motivated to maintain your own fitness routine?

By setting clear and achievable goals for myself. Whether it's improving my strength, increasing my endurance or mastering a new skill in my training routine. I think when we have specific targets, it keeps us focused.

What’s the best part of being a coach and a personal trainer?

The best part of being a coach is being able to help people realise that they can do much more than they ever expected they could do! I love to help people define their goals and show them ways to achieve their goals effectively. I always aim to keep motivation high for each student so they can achieve the goals they have set for themselves.

what advice would you give to someone who is new to the gym?

  1. Start with a plan.

  2. Have a balance with your routine.

  3. Stay consistent and be patient: think of your fitness journey as a long term process.

  4. Make sure you are doing things properly to avoid injuries and don’t hesitate ask for help when you need.

  5. Celebrate and be happy with your achievements. Every small win is a big improvement!
